At the heart of our ethos is the conviction that learning to read should be fun!

 

Our team have come up with a whole range of innovative approaches for  working children and young people who struggle to read.

 

Stepchange Education was set up by Paul Gee, a experienced SEND teacher and dyslexia specialist passionate about helping children to learn to read.

 

Paul, himself dyslexic, knows what it is like to be at the bottom of the class for English and understands the frustration that many dyslexic children feel when they struggle learn to read or spell, often while being articulate and competent in other areas of the curriculum.
