One term turn around
​
This is a capacity building intervention in which a specialist teacher comes to your school for half a day a week for one term.
In that time, not only do we work with up to 4 pupils a week providing targeted and intensive support, we also provide weekly training to your lead SEND Teaching Assistant so that you can continue the work after we have left.

We find that this way of working really helps to embed new approaches in a school. You receive a full set of reusable resources, teaching notes as well as a follow-up visit.

Phonics and spelling interventions
​
We have a small pool of specialist Teaching Assistants who provide effective, fun and engaging interventions for dyslexic pupils with a focus on fluent spelling and reading.
​
These Teaching Assistants have been trained in the use of all the Stepchange Education teaching approaches and are supervised by our specialist dyslexia teachers. The package can include initial literacy assessments.
